I spent a whirlwind weekend in New York City and had the best time! My trip started with a sunrise engagement session in Brooklyn with Beccah and Johnny. I met Beccah at the beginning of my freshman year in college. She says she thought I didn’t like her when we first met, haha! But the truth is that I have thought she is just the coolest person since the beginning. She is an incredible woman (soon to be doctor!) filled with faith and fiery passion. It was such a joy for me to spend the day with her and her fiancé, Johnny. Johnny is kind and thoughtful and super fun to be around. I’m so glad these two found each other and can’t wait to photograph their New York City wedding in May. Hopefully it will be a little bit warmer then than it was for their engagement session!
I have to say, New York City really captivated my heart. A large part of that is because the city is just as passionate about brunch as I am! I ate three brunches in my 1.5 days in New York, along with some awesome pizza and a Levain bakery cookie. I’m excited to go back in just a few months! I would love to continue photographing couples, boudoir sessions, and weddings in New York City, If you connect with what you see here, get in touch and I’d love to talk about being your photographer!
