I think Jill and Grant might be the sweetest couple in the world. Their Nashville engagement session is nothing short of magical! Jill and I had been texting earlier in the day, worried about the stormy weather. But somehow the weather cleared up and we had the most perfect session.
Grant and Jill recently moved to Nashville and wanted to celebrate their new house and new city by starting their session at home. I’m so glad we did because it meant that their dog, Bailey, got to be a part of the session! Grant adopted Bailey when he was just 11 years old and so they have a long history together. Apparently Bailey and Jill have a love/hate relationship (since Jill is trying to STEAL Grant away. Rude, haha). Jill was super surprised that Bailey was so sweet and giving her kisses during the shoot, but I think we all know it was to ease suspicion!
After some cozy photographs at their home, we headed to a nearby state park. With the storms earlier in the day we had the park completely to ourselves! We were all amazed by how beautiful and peaceful it was. I think engagement sessions are even more meaningful when couples choose locations are special to them.
Jill and Grant, I seriously can’t wait for your Mint Springs Farms wedding next year. I already know it’s going to be incredible!
