Brooklyn Photographer

Soft neutrals and pastel colors are super popular these days, and I love them! I’ve photographed so many beautiful weddings with these color schemes. Sometimes, though, I really miss vibrant colors. With an upcoming trip to Brooklyn, I knew that I wanted to plan something super fun and colorful and this colors of Brooklyn editorial is the result. I drew my inspiration from a Brooklyn mural I’d photographed before along with a bright yellow jumpsuit! Sweet Talk Floral brought the whole shoot together with one of my favorite bouquets of all time. So what do you think? Have I convinced you to incorporate some color for your photo session or wedding?
Let’s make is happen!¬†

I photographed this entire shoot on 35mm film, a mixture of Portra 400, Portra 800, and Ilford HP5, scanned by Boutique Film Lab. Also, huge shout out to my incredible models, Celina, who rocked the most amazing jumpsuit (and who also happens to be my sister!), and Briana, who dodged all sorts of people as she ran down the streets of NYC for the perfect photo!
