This Christmas Tree Farm Elopement Shoot combines all my favorite things–Christmas, fabulous bouquets, hot chocolate, copper mugs, yummy cakes, and lots of love. Our sweet couple, Morgan and Chad, stayed warm by sipping caramel hot chocolate and snuggling under a gorgeous flannel blanket. Our color palate of evergreen, burgundy, copper, and dark neutrals created a cozy, wintry feel in the midst of the romantic Christmas tree farm.
This was such a dream to photograph and I’m so thankful for all the fabulous creatives who helped me pull it all together! Enjoy some of my favorites from this Nashville Elopement Inspiration and scroll to the bottom of the post for all the vendor love!

I am in love with this wedding editorial at Meadow Hill Farm! My dear friend Jenny is starting her own wedding venue, Meadow Hill Farm, a beautiful property in Columbia, TN with a huge reception barn, indoor and outdoor ceremony sites, a getting ready cottage, a garden pathway, and wildflower fields. The farm is stunning and Jenny’s incredible eye for style and design has really transformed the property. A while back I asked her if I could organize a styled wedding shoot at her venue, and she said yes!
I let the farm be my inspiration for this styled wedding editorial. The wildflowers, barnwood table, and unique touches created a romantic, bohemian, and vintage feel. We loved incorporating as many elements from the farm itself as we could, including the wild blackberries that grow all over the property! Wild blackberries are woven into the table garland, wrapped around our blackberry naked cake, and styled with other gorgeous elements in our shoot. The table set up was stunning and the vintage silver pieces we used for candle holders was such a unique way to elevate the table design.
I am convinced that I found some of the sweetest and most talented vendors in Nashville to collaborate with me for this styled shoot. All of these incredible creatives jumped on board and really made my vision come to life. A huge thank you to The Dress Theory, Street Tuxedo, One10 Makeup, Vintage Reverie Designs, A Village of Flowers, Chef Penelope, Designs in Paper, and Patty Cakes for working so hard to create this shoot. I wholeheartedly recommend each of them to all my couples! Read more about each vendor at the end of the post :) And I also want to say thank you to Shayna and Levi Wiggins, our amazing real couple! They were so much fun to work with and completed the entire shoot.

Meadow Hill Farm – The grand opening of Meadow Hill Farm is September 2015! I really can’t say enough about how incredible it is, and how wonderful Jenny, the owner, is. So many amazing vintage items are included with the venue, as well as the amazing hand-made barnwood tables. I can’t wait to photograph weddings there!
The Dress Theory – We used Sarah Seven’s romantic Practically Perfect bridal gown and Gilded Belt. The belt was the perfect touch! The sweet ladies at The Dress Theory were so incredible helpful and let us come in a couple times to find the perfect dress for our shoot. Nashville brides, be sure to check out The Dress Theory in Germantown. It is the sweetest little shop with an amazing selection of dresses.
Street Tuxedo – I love Street Tuxedo’s heather grey suit, and they were amazing to work with! There’s a reason they are Nashville’s go-to place for suit and tuxedo rentals. Another plus is that they have multiple locations around Nashville!
A Village of Flowers – Danielle, the floral designer who contributed her talents to our shoot, created the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen! She totally got what I wanted for the bouquet, and created one that was so natural and perfectly matched the wildflowers at Meadow Hill Farm. She also created the beautiful floral crown (I want one for every day of the week to wear myself!) and provided the flowers for our naked cake!
Chef Penelope – At the end of the shoot, those of us who were left were sitting in a field in the dark eating Chef Penelope’s delicious food. All the food was so incredibly fresh and creative! Cornbread croutons? What an innovation, and soooo yummy. I’ve eaten a lot of wedding food, and Chef Penelope is not only some of the best catering food I’ve ever had, but just some of the best food. We were all in love! And everyone I interacted with from Chef Penelope was so nice.
Vintage Reverie Designs – Denise was a dream to work with and her table garland was amazing! Table garlands are some of my favorite details at gorgeous Southern weddings, and Denise did such an amazing job creating one that matched the feel of our shoot.
Designs in Paper – Donette from Designs in Paper is so easy and wonderful to work with. I loved the watercolor palate she used for the invitation suite and place cards. She is amazing at creating unique and beautiful paper goods.
Patty Cakes – I love the naked cake trend! Patty from Patty Cakes baked a summery, blackberry naked cake that not only looked amazing in the wildflower field but tasted delicious!
One10 Makeup – The hair and makeup artists at One10 Makeup were awesome! We wanted a really soft, natural look and they did an amazing job.
